Manchester City youngster leaves for Udinese to secure loan deal

Jayden Braaf is saying goodbye to Manchester City for now and will enter into a loan deal with Serie A club Udinese.

The player who has been compared to England’s brilliant talent, Jadon Sancho, appears to be on a similar path to the English. The 18-year-old is on his way to Italy to complete his loan with a medical examination which will take place over the next 24 hours, to beat the deadline day bell.

If the move works for the club, they will look to make the deal permanent. That, plus the fact that Man City want to add a sell clause could spell the end of Jayden Braaf ‘s Career in the city. They are said to value the youngster at £ 8million.

Manchester City winger Jayden Braaf is set to join Udinese on loan.

The 18-year-old is expected to undergo a medical examination within the next 24 hours. Braaf has already caught the attention of Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen, who have since moved to sign Demarai Gray from Leicester.

The city values Braaf at around £ 8million for any permanent deal and would like a sell clause.

A move away was almost inevitable – player and club couldn’t meet for a contract extension and a move away from the Etihad was only a matter of time.

Sportsmail revealed last month that a breakdown in communication between the club and the winger led to Braaf’s future moving away from the Etihad stadium. (Going through:

A small fee for any club to pay for a player they consider to be the next Sancho. If he makes a name for himself, it might be considered a good deal – but at 18 he has a lot to prove.

Speaking of a lot to prove, Braaf was only able to make the cut for Manchester City reserves. He did not and will not make a senior appearance for the English club at first glance.

Last season he had a good stint in Premier League 2 – Division 1. He had 16 feature films, scoring nine times for junior Cityznes. This season he has only played once.
