Entertainment company secures £15,000 start-up loan | Midlands Offers News


The Nottinghamshire-based Rockets Collective, which provides entertainment for functions such as weddings and corporate events, has secured a £15,000 loan which will enable it to push ahead with its growth plans.

The company, which provides its services across the UK and internationally, was set up by Thomas Wyman who runs the business independently and selects musicians and technicians to perform with each booking.

The loan comes as the company continues to recover from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has caused cancellations and postponements.

Additionally, the business struggled to expand as it was unable to transport additional equipment for shows.

The start-up loan from First Enterprise – Enterprise Loans through the British Business Bank-backed start-up loan scheme, will enable Wyman to purchase a new van as well as lifting equipment and promotional material.
